During the Lenten Season, our congregation will be participating in the 40-day study, Treasures of the Transformed Life. This study includes weekly sermons and small group meetings. We will start the 40-day devotional on Ash Wednesday, February 10th. If you would like to get a copy of the devotional book ($12.05 or download the Kindle version) and/or the participant's workbook ($4.99) for the small group study, please email Paige Rogers. Get a copy of the class schedule and the reading plan for the 40-day devotional here.
Welcome and thank you for visiting Ebenezer UMC’s website. We are glad you have found our website and hope you will use it to explore what we are about and all we do at our church to serve our risen Savior, Jesus Christ.
If you are currently looking for a church to call home, we hope you will consider Ebenezer. We are a welcoming congregation that has ministries for people of all ages to participate, and are always looking for more ways in which we can better serve God and our community.
We hope that you will choose to come and join us on Sunday morning. Each Sunday we gather together to equip ourselves for our walk with Christ. We start off at 9:45 am with Sunday School classes, which are offered for all ages and stages. Worship begins at 10:45 am, which is a blended style of worship: following a traditional liturgy and structure, but varying the style of music.
Ebenezer is a member of the North Georgia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, a denomination of over 12 million members in the United States and throughout the world. This particular church has been serving this and the surrounding communities for almost two hundred years bringing the good news of God’s love through Jesus Christ through its worship, programs, and mission work.
We hope that by browsing through our website you will be able to see the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available at our church and that you might find a place or places in which you can come and learn with us, but also use the gifts God has given you. Please feel free to read more about the church on this site, or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbor. I would be more than happy to meet with you and answer any questions about our ministry, what we believe, and how together we can grow in our faith. If you desire, you may contact me through the information found on our Contact Us page.
May the love and peace of Christ be with you!
Rev. Chris A Branscomb
